CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2022

Yoursmartdevice.com take on CES

Consumer Electronics Show 2022

At the time of writing this post yet another CES is taking place in Las Vegas and partially in a virtual world. CES is an awesome event that takes place January every year and what brings together all of the latest gadgets, smart devices and technology in general. Some of them are almost from the realm or science-fiction, others you can see being sold on the shelves just a couple of months afterwards.

It’s definitely a show to keep an eye on if you want to get an overview what will be happening in the world of consumer tech in the near future. It is covered by many and you can read more about the event from CES official website.

General trend in this field for quite some time now has been making everything “smart”. From your average kitchen toaster to the bed that you sleep in. IoT (Internet of Things), 5G networks and other similar technologies are really the forces behind these advancements. Some ideas might be a bit far fetched but give them time and in some form or another they will most likely end up as a part of your everyday life. Hence yoursmartdevice.com was created, in order to help you navigate in this new and perhaps a bit unfamiliar world.

Obviously there’s a huge variety of different products out there and it’s difficult to provide information about all of them but be sure that some of those new devices will end up on our website also!

You can see all the devices currently available from here – Products on yoursmartdevice.com

Here’s a list of some of our favorite tech presented at the show:

  • BMW iX with Shade Changing body – you can adjust the color from white to black an all variations in between. It’s like a huge e-Reader!
  • Wisear Mind Controller Earbuds – this technology could have virtually unlimited uses. Just imagine controlling all the electronics with just your mind. Sounds scary and intimidating at the same time!
  • Noveto N1 Invisible Headphones – it beams audio straight to your ears! You can still listen to your favorite music without interrupting anyone and with no physical headphones.
  • Samsung Energy-Harvesting Remote – a really simple idea which in our opinion can be put to good use in many other low energy consumption devices. It not only gathers power from sunlight but even from all the radio frequencies in your home!
  • Linklet Neck-Worn Camera – it let’s other users to see what you see while on a Zoom or Microsoft Teams call!

Here’s an article by The Wall Street Journal® that gives an overview of some of the best and coolest products seen on this year’s event – Best of CES 2022
