Let me share just one example out of dozens we have on our site. Let’s say that you have decided to buy yourself a robot vacuum cleaner, specifically an iRobot Roomba i3+ (which is a really good product and highly recommended). Overstock sells it currently at $599 but Target (and also some other stores) for $399. That’s a huge difference!

For $200 you could get an additional vacuum cleaner. Or have a fancy dinner. Or invest it. The point being it’s always worth while to compare prices when buying something, especially when the amounts go bigger.

There are many products where price differences reach into hundreds with lots of different reasons. Maybe right now the store has some overall discount related to Holidays or similar. Perhaps the item is just going out of selection for them and is being sold at a cheaper price. And generally speaking some stores seem to be more reasonably priced than others in most cases (of course they have usually other benefits available).
