Concept of yoursmartdevice.com
We are not selling any products ourselves. Our aim is to research the most popular products related to smart home automation, gather information about them (attributes, pictures, descriptions, reviews and so on), find as many offers from known brands as possible and finally put it all together for a convenient overview. We know that sometimes it can be a hassle to gather all this information due to abundance of information available online so we will do it for you! Yoursmartdevice.com can be viewed as a virtual marketplace for smart home devices that’s open 24/7 and is constantly updated with new information!
Price comparison tool
Clicking on a product and scrolling down (or by clicking Deals & Sales) you can see all the offers currently available for the specific device. These are always filtered with the lowest price on top with the exception of an official store that’s listed first when available. We automatically crawl hundreds of product pages on retailer websites to fetch the “Price” and “Availability”. Generally everything works well but sometimes you can see store offers with no price presented – it means that for some reason our crawler didn’t manage to get the price automatically but the offer still exists so be sure to click on it when you want to have a closer look.
Product comparison tool
One really cool feature we have is the product comparison. You can find it either in the top right of the page, in the footer marked as “Product comparison” or just by viewing the devices and clicking on the symbol. It allows you compare main attributes of the products side by side to get a better understanding of the differences. You can compare more than 2 products simultaneously.
But there are so many products out there?
Yes, that’s true. There are huge variety of product groups and the products within. The world of smart home automation is rapidly growing and new devices are released every month. But our goal is not to find data about each and every product out there, we first want to have a look what are actually the best rated and most popular devices out there and then provide quality content and all the features mentioned above. We’re pretty sure that if you search the whole world for all security cameras for example you can literally find hundreds or maybe even thousands of them but the bulk of transactions is still made with only 5% of them.
